Summer Reading Program 2021

Summer Reading Program 2021

This year’s Summer Reading theme is "Reading Colors Your World!" which celebrates the many ways reading can expand your world by teaching kindness, facilitating growth, and building a sense of community!

Due to our building in downtown Alpena being closed for our ongoing renovation and the inaccessibility of our temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza, we are utilizing an online platform called Beanstack to help participants track their program progress and easily enter to win prizes. Information about accessing Beanstack, ,signing up for a free account online and/or through the free mobile app, and registering for this summer’s programs can be found after the program overviews.

Our Summer 2021 programs will begin June 7 and end July 17.

Open Kit Pick Up Times

We will host Open Kit Pick Up times outside our temporary location in Bear Pointe Plaza on US 23 S during the week of June 7 to June 13 to allow program participants to pick up provided welcome materials that will be needed to complete each program. Participants who are unable to attend these open pick up times may schedule a curbside service pick up time to better meet their availability. Curbside pick ups can be scheduled by calling (989) 356-6188 extension 10.
