Computer classes event graphic

The Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library offers computer classes that meet the need of most of our library patrons. Whether you are a beginner in need of basic computer or internet skills or desire to gain skills for the job market we have you the patron in mind.

Registration is required. To register fill out this form or  call 356-6188 Ext #20.  Classes begin at 5:30PM,  unless otherwise noted,  in the MakerLab. Classes are free of charge.

Libby is an app from OverDrive and provides a way to start reading eBooks and audiobooks from the Great Lakes Digital Library. You can borrow eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet. You can also send your borrowed eBooks to your Kindle eReader. It’s free and easy to get started for new users and offers you a streamlined reading experience.

In this class, learn how to access library eBooks and digital audiobooks using Libby, by OverDrive on your phone, tablet, computer or e-reader. Follow along with your own library card and device.
