Weekly Storytime

Youth Service Department 211 N. 1st Ave, Alpena

Participants will meet at the Storytime rug by the youth desk for music, and stories. Toddler storytime for ages 3-5 will run from 9:15-9:40 followed by baby storytime for ages 0-2. A fun parent-child-themed craft will follow the toddler storytime in the youth area. Join us on Thursdays for storytime fun!

Join the Alpena County Library to learn the basics of Sourdough bread, how to create a sourdough starter, and ask questions. The 20 who register will get a starter kit containing a mason jar, flour, water, and a whisk. Walk-ins are welcome, but we cannot guarantee there will be any starter kits to give away.…
